Mexican Village.

Salsa Caliente Mexican Grill

275 Erie St S, Leamington, ON N8H 3C4

Saturday, June 15th     11:00 am – 8:00 pm

The Consulate of Mexico in Leamington in partnership with “Salsa Caliente” Restaurant proudly presents a sample of Mexican cuisine, culture, traditions, folklore and more.

Mexican cuisine is recognized by UNESCO as “Intangible Cultural Heritage” and expert hands in Salsa Caliente have prepared a traditional sample menu to please the community that will try it for the first time. And, if you think you know Mexican food, there are plenty of new flavours to indulge your taste with.

The Mexican Village will entertain you with a sample of folklore and traditions with some surprises.

In 2019, Mexico and Canada celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations (January 29, 1944) and 45 years of the Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program established in 1974. Holding Carrousel of the Nations for the first time in Leamington, it is a gratifying opportunity to share with the community a taste of Mexico and the many things both countries have in common.
