Menu 

Kabuli Palaw Plate
- Main rice plate
Basmati rice; beef or lamb; carrots; raisins; onions;
cooking oil; salt; Afghan spice blend such as cumin,
cardamom, black pepper, and other spices as used.

 

Sabzi Palaw Plate
- Vegetarian rice plate
Basmati rice; spinach or green herbs/greens; onions; cooking
oil; salt; spices. 

 

Chicken Tikka Kebab Plate
- Grilled meat plate
Chicken breast chunks; onions; cooking oil; salt; black pepper; cumin; coriander or Afghan spice blend. Garlic, lemon/vinegar,
or yogurt only if used in the final marinade.

Beef Tikka Kebab Plate

Grilled meat plate - limited
Beef chunks; onions; cooking oil; salt; black pepper; cumin;
coriander or Afghan spice blend. Garlic, lemon/vinegar, or
yogurt only if used in the final marinade.


Mantu - Afghan Beef Dumplings
Flour dough or wrappers; cooked ground beef; onions; cooking
oil; salt; spices; plain yogurt/chaka/curd; garlic; dried mint;
lentils; tomato sauce or tomato paste; onion for tomato-lentil
sauce.

Bolani - Afghan Stuffed Flatbread
- Vegetarian side / snack
Flour; water; salt; cooking oil; mashed potato; gandana or
green onion/leek/garlic chives; spices.

 

Drinks and Dessert

Doogh / Shrombei
- Cold yogurt drink

Plain yogurt; water; cucumber; dried mint; salt. Garlic or other
seasoning only if used in the final recipe.

 

Black Tea

Hot drink

Black tea; water; sugar optional and served separately.
 

Green Tea

Hot drink

Green tea; water; sugar optional and served separately.
