Chinese Village.

1420 Tecumseh Road East. Windsor.

The Chinese Village will present visitors with an opportunity to experience a sampling of the Chinese culture on display and in performance.  Opening with the Dragon Parade, the Village will showcase the talents and skills of Chinese artists through calligraphy, music, and dancers.  The Chinese martial arts will be highlighted in Kung Fu and nunchaku demonstrations.  The Chinese medical practice of acupuncture will also be featured at the Village.

The Chinese Village has traditionally invited Carrousel of the Nations’ partner villages to perform. 

This year dancers will shine the light on Hungarian, Indian, Lebanese, Scottish, and Slovak cultures.

Things to eat!

Hot foods will be catered by Windsor’s MultiFood Supermarket. 

$5/small plate $10/large plate

  • Fried noodles

  • Mix vegetables

  • Lemon chicken

  • Sweet and sour pork


Also available for purchase are Chinese-style snacks, desserts, and bubble tea.

Things to do!

The Chinese Village will open with a Dragon Parade to welcome visitors and bring attention the day’s festivities.  A diverse program of culture performances and demonstrations will be featured throughout the two days of the Village.  Windsor’s MultiFood Supermarket will cater a selection of hot foods for purchase. The two-day event will include the following performances:

Where to park.

The Chinese Village is located at 1420 Tecumseh Rd. E. between the intersections of Moy and Gladstone Aves.  Parking meters are in place on both sides of Tecumseh and there is a municipal parking lot on the Southwest corner of Moy & Tecumseh.
